Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is set to return to Nepal today after completing his five-day visit to India.

Lamichhane traveled to India on June 1 at the invitation of BJP leader Nitin Navin. During the visit, he held meetings with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior BJP leaders.

He also met Sergio Gor, the South and Central Asia envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, during his stay in India.

According to the RSP, the delegation included party Joint General Secretary and Member of Parliament Bipin Kumar Acharya, MP Deepak Bohora, Nikita Poudel, and Pradeep Acharya.

Meanwhile, Nepal's Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is scheduled to depart for New Delhi on the same day Lamichhane returns. During his visit, Khanal is expected to hold discussions with his Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar and other senior officials.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that issues related to Nepal–India border concerns, bilateral relations, diplomatic cooperation, trade, and other matters of mutual interest will be discussed during the visit.
