Rain Likely Throughout the Week Across Nepal, Moderate Showers Expected in Several Regions
The weather department forecasts rainfall across multiple regions of Nepal throughout the week, with moderate showers expected in some areas.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, rainfall is likely across various parts of Nepal throughout the week.
From Sunday to Tuesday, moderate rainfall is expected in parts of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati Provinces, as well as in a few Terai areas of Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, rainfall is forecast to intensify, with many areas in Koshi Province and some regions in Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim Provinces likely to receive moderate showers.
In hilly regions, scattered rainfall is expected early in the week, expanding to more areas by midweek. Similarly, Himalayan regions may witness snowfall or rain in several locations during this period.
The department has indicated that weather conditions are expected to gradually improve starting next Saturday.
