Ridi Line Energy Limited has decided to provide a corporate bank guarantee worth Rs 151.5 million to support additional financing for the 11 MW Dudhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Project, in which the company is a shareholder.

Ridi Line Energy Limited has approved a corporate bank guarantee to support the financing needs of the Dudhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Project, a project in which it holds an equity stake.
The decision was made during the company’s 116th Board of Directors meeting held on June 19 (Asar 5). The guarantee will be provided for the 11 MW Dudhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Project, which is being developed by Dudhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Limited.
According to the decision, Ridi Line Energy will provide a corporate bank guarantee worth Rs 151.5 million to Rastriya Banijya Bank as security for additional loan facilities obtained for the construction and expansion of the project.
The company stated that the guarantee will help secure additional financing required for the timely completion and development of the hydropower project.
Corporate guarantees play an important role in strengthening lender confidence and facilitating project financing, particularly in Nepal’s hydropower sector, where access to long-term funding remains critical.
