RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane Leaves for Five-Day India Visit

Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), is leaving for India today on a five-day official visit aimed at strengthening political and diplomatic engagement.

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of Nitin Navin, a leader of India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to RSP spokesperson Manish Jha, Lamichhane will remain in India from Jestha 18 to Jestha 22. The delegation accompanying him includes RSP Joint General Secretary and Member of Parliament Bipin Kumar Acharya, Secretariat Member and Member of Parliament Deepak Bohora, along with Nikita Poudel and Pradeep Acharya.

During the visit, Lamichhane is scheduled to hold high-level political and diplomatic meetings in New Delhi. Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening Nepal–India relations, political cooperation, and issues of mutual interest.

The RSP chairman will also meet members of the Nepali community living in India, party supporters, and representatives from various organizations.

In addition to official engagements, the delegation is expected to visit Ayodhya, one of India's most prominent religious and cultural destinations.

The visit comes at a time when political parties in Nepal are increasingly seeking to expand international engagement and strengthen relationships with regional stakeholders.
