Sanima Bank Sets Book Closure for 10% Dividend
Sanima Bank has called its 22nd AGM for Ashwin 12, 2083 and set Ashwin 1 as the book closure date for its proposed 10% cash dividend for FY2082/83.

Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) has announced the date for its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and book closure for its proposed dividend for FY2082/83.
The bank will hold its 22nd AGM on Ashwin 12, 2083, at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM.
Among the key agendas of the AGM is approval of the bank's proposed 10% cash dividend for ordinary shareholders for FY2082/83. The dividend, including applicable tax, amounts to Rs. 1.35 billion and will be distributed from the bank's accumulated profits.
The bank has also proposed an 8.25% dividend for preference shareholders, amounting to approximately Rs. 52.4 million.
Sanima Bank's Board of Directors had previously approved the proposed 10% cash dividend. The bank currently has paid-up capital of Rs. 13.58 billion, while its preference share capital stands at Rs. 2 billion.
The AGM will also seek approval for the auditor's report, profit and loss statement, financial statements and cash flow statement for FY2082/83. Shareholders will also appoint an auditor for FY2083/84.
Another agenda is the election of two directors from the public shareholder group to the bank's Board of Directors.
Sanima Bank has set Ashwin 1, 2083 as the book closure date. Therefore, shareholders who hold SANIMA shares before the book closure date will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the AGM.
The proposed dividend will become effective only after approval by the AGM and completion of the required regulatory processes.
