Senior Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balen Shah has returned to Kathmandu following his participation in the party's national convention held in Chitwan.

According to Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal, Shah departed for Kathmandu on a flight at 11:31 AM on Wednesday after concluding his engagements at the convention.

Shah addressed the convention's inaugural session on Sunday and also took part in the closed-door session held on Tuesday. During the convention, he was elected as a senior leader of the party, further strengthening his position within the RSP leadership structure.

Apart from political activities, Shah also visited the Elephant Breeding Center in Sauraha and toured the Chitwan National Park during his stay in the district.

The convention brought together party leaders, delegates, and supporters from across the country to discuss organizational matters and elect new leadership.
