Shares of Two Companies Listed on NEPSE: When Can Investors Trade Them?
NEPSE has listed Salt Trading Corporation’s 9.5% bonus shares and United Ajod Insurance’s 10% right shares.

Shares of two companies have been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The newly listed securities include bonus shares of Salt Trading Corporation Limited and right shares of United Ajod Insurance Limited.
Salt Trading Bonus Shares
Salt Trading Corporation Limited has listed its 9.5% bonus shares on NEPSE. A total of 304,681.1072 bonus shares have been listed.
Although the bonus shares have been listed on NEPSE, shareholders will be able to trade them in the secondary market only after the shares are credited to their respective Demat accounts.
United Ajod Insurance Right Shares
Similarly, United Ajod Insurance Limited has listed its 10% right shares on NEPSE. A total of 2.31 million right shares have been listed.
Following the listing, the right shares will be credited to the Demat accounts of eligible shareholders. Investors will be able to trade the shares once they are deposited into their Demat accounts.
Therefore, listing on NEPSE does not necessarily mean that the shares can be traded immediately. Investors must first receive the securities in their Demat accounts before trading them in the secondary market.
