Shivshakti Group and Reliance Sugar have contributed a combined Rs61 lakh to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund for Bhotekoshi flood relief.

Shivshakti Group, Reliance Sugar Donate Rs61 Lakh for Flood Relief

Shivshakti Group and Reliance Sugar and Chemical Industries have contributed a combined Rs61 lakh to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support communities affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa.

Shivshakti Group contributed Rs51 lakh to the fund, expressing sorrow over the loss of lives and extensive property damage caused by the flood on Bhadra 10.

The contribution was made on behalf of Shivshakti Group leadership Rajkumar Agrawal, Sandeep Kumar Agrawal and Rahul Kumar Agrawal, along with the company’s employees and wider organization. The amount was handed over to the Finance Minister.

Similarly, Reliance Sugar and Chemical Industries Pvt. Ltd., Bara, contributed Rs10 lakh to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.

The Bhotekoshi flood caused significant human and physical damage across Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Chitwan and Nawalparasi, affecting communities and disrupting normal life.

Shivshakti Group paid tribute to Nepali citizens and foreign tourists who lost their lives in the disaster and expressed condolences to the bereaved families. The group also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the flood.

The group called on the private sector, industrialists, businesses, organizations and the general public to contribute to ongoing rescue and relief efforts according to their capacity, emphasizing that even small contributions can help affected families.
