Spring Mineral Industry Sealed in Triyuga Over Substandard Water Production
Authorities have sealed a mineral water industry in Triyuga, Udaypur, over allegations of producing substandard drinking water.

Authorities have sealed the Spring Mineral Industry located in Motigada, Triyuga Municipality-3 of Udaypur after finding that it was allegedly producing and distributing substandard drinking water.
A joint monitoring team from the Food Technology and Quality Control Division Office, Udaypur Gaighat, and the District Administration Office conducted an inspection on Tuesday, following repeated consumer complaints regarding water quality.
According to officials, the industry was found filtering and packaging water in violation of approved quality standards, posing potential health risks to consumers. As a result, the administration immediately shut down and sealed the facility.
Nirajan Magar, chief of the Food Technology and Quality Control Division Office, stated that the company had previously been warned and fined for similar violations. However, despite repeated instructions to improve operations, the industry allegedly continued ignoring regulatory standards.
Assistant Chief District Officer of Udaypur, Bikram Pandey, said the administration was left with no option but to seal the industry after repeated non-compliance. He emphasized that public health and food safety issues would be strictly enforced without compromise.
The administration has also halted the sale and distribution of all mineral water products supplied by the company to the market. Further inspections and quality testing processes are expected to continue in the coming days.
