Super Madi Proposes 15.79% Dividend
Super Madi Hydropower has proposed a 15.78947% dividend for FY 2082/83, including 15% bonus shares and 0.78947% cash dividend.

Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) has proposed a 15.78947% dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83, comprising bonus shares and a cash dividend for tax purposes.
The company has proposed 15% bonus shares worth Rs. 34.72 crore and a 0.78947% cash dividend worth Rs. 1.82 crore. The cash portion has been proposed specifically to cover applicable dividend taxes.
The proposed dividend was approved by the company's board of directors at a meeting held on Bhadra 8, 2083. The distribution is based on the company's existing paid-up capital of Rs. 2.31 billion.
The proposed dividend will still require approval from the company's shareholders at its upcoming 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Super Madi Hydropower has called its 17th AGM for Ashwin 1, 2083, at Hotel Imperial, Putalisadak, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am.
Shareholders will consider the proposed dividend along with other matters included in the AGM agenda. The company will proceed with the distribution after obtaining the necessary approvals.
The company has set Bhadra 23, 2083 as the book closure date. Shareholders who hold the company's shares before the book closure date will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the AGM.
If approved, shareholders will receive additional shares equivalent to 15% of their existing holdings as bonus shares, while the 0.78947% cash component will be distributed for tax purposes.
