SuryaJyoti Life Launches Rs. 500 Million ‘Alpha Plus SuryaJyoti Fund’
SuryaJyoti Life Insurance has officially launched the ‘Alpha Plus SuryaJyoti Fund’ with an initial corpus of NPR 500 million after receiving its fund registration and issuance certificate from SEBON.

SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited has officially launched the ‘Alpha Plus SuryaJyoti Fund’ after receiving the fund registration and issuance certificate from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).
Alpha Plus Ventures Limited has been appointed as the designated fund manager and will be responsible for managing the fund and executing its investment activities.
Rs. 500 Million Initial Corpus
The Alpha Plus SuryaJyoti Fund has been established with an initial corpus of NPR 500 million (Rs. 50 crore).
According to SuryaJyoti Life, the initiative represents the first time a life insurance company in Nepal has launched a specialized investment fund under its own brand name.
The fund aims to identify new opportunities for long-term and structured capital deployment while supporting the expansion of SuryaJyoti Life’s investment portfolio and strengthening its long-term financial strategy.
Target Investment Sectors
Based on the approved investment policy and internal investment committee guidelines, the fund will explore investment opportunities across several sectors, including:
Manufacturing and processing
Energy and hydropower
Infrastructure development
Mining and mineral extraction
Financial and investment services
E-commerce
Information technology
Tourism and entertainment
Real estate
Hotels and restaurants
Health and wellness
Agriculture
The fund may also invest in other promising private-sector opportunities that are not restricted under prevailing laws.
