Tara Manandhar Appointed CEO of Muktinath Development Bank
Muktinath Development Bank has appointed seasoned banker Tara Manandhar as its new CEO for a four-year term.

Muktinath Development Bank has appointed Tara Manandhar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision was made during the board of directors meeting held on Baisakh 3, appointing him for a tenure of four years.
The current CEO, Pradyumna Pokharel, is set to complete his term by the end of Baisakh. Manandhar will officially assume office starting from Jestha 1.
Manandhar is a seasoned banker with over 25 years of experience in Nepal’s banking sector. He began his career at the former Nepal Bangladesh Bank and has since worked with several prominent financial institutions including NCC Bank, Citizens Bank International, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, Business Universal Development Bank, Prabhu Bank, Muktinath Development Bank, and Prime Commercial Bank.
He previously served as Deputy CEO at Muktinath Development Bank. For a brief period, he also ventured into the media industry, serving as CEO of Dish Media Network since Baisakh 3, 2081.
With his return to the banking sector, Manandhar is expected to strengthen the bank’s leadership and drive further institutional growth and service expansion.
