Tehrathum Power to Auction Unsold Rights Shares from August 27

Tehrathum Power Company Limited (TPC) has announced the auction of 418,738 units of unsold rights shares that remained unsubscribed during its recently concluded rights issue. The rights issue, offered in a 1:1 ratio, was open from Asar 16 to Shrawan 11 (June 30 to July 27).

The auction will be conducted via sealed bidding from Shrawan 27 to Bhadra 3 (August 11 to August 19). The minimum bid price is set at NPR 100 per share, with investors allowed to bid at or above this threshold.

Interested bidders must apply for a minimum of 100 shares, with no upper limit on the number of shares that can be requested.

Nabil Investment Banking Limited is the appointed issue and sales manager for the auction. Applications can be submitted at Nabil Investment’s office or at select Nabil Bank branches including Biratnagar, Birtamode, Birgunj, Hetauda, Jawalakhel, Suryabinayak, Pokhara, Butwal, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, and Dhangadhi.

This auction provides retail and institutional investors a second chance to acquire equity in a hydropower firm operating in Nepal’s growing renewable energy sector.
