Foreign Travel Details Now Available Directly Through Nagarik App
Nepal’s Department of Immigration has introduced a new system allowing Nepali citizens to access their international arrival and departure records directly through the Nagarik App.

The Department of Immigration has introduced a new digital service that allows Nepali citizens to obtain their foreign travel details directly through the Nagarik App.
The department said the new system has been introduced to make its services more secure, organized, and technology-friendly. Under the new arrangement, citizens can access their international arrival and departure records through the Nagarik App.
With the implementation of the system, service seekers no longer need to physically visit the Department of Immigration or submit a physical application to obtain their travel records.
The department has stated that personal information will remain secure, as the passport details of the concerned individual will be displayed within the app.
Previously, obtaining travel records through physical applications involved procedural difficulties, delays in receiving information, and additional workload for the department. The new digital service is expected to save both time and costs for service users.
According to Tika Ram Dhakal, director and spokesperson of the Department of Immigration, the new technology-based service will make the process more convenient and efficient for citizens.
The department has also stated that individuals and organizations can use the travel details obtained through the Nagarik App as an official source of information.
