Tribhuvan International Airport to Close 7 Hours Daily Until Jestha 4 for Construction
Tribhuvan International Airport will shut down for 7 hours daily to accelerate infrastructure construction work.

Tribhuvan International Airport will remain closed for seven hours daily until Jestha 4 to expedite ongoing infrastructure development works. According to airport authorities, all flight operations will be suspended from 11:45 PM to 6:30 AM.
Induraj Adhikari, Chief of the Terminal Management Division, stated that pavement construction work is currently underway on the taxiway adjacent to the runway. The nighttime closure has been implemented to ensure safety during construction activities.
The airport office noted that this measure is necessary to accelerate the completion of the project. Airlines have been requested to adjust their flight schedules accordingly to minimize inconvenience to passengers during the closure period
