Trump Claims Iran Strike Paused as Framework for Agreement Reached

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that a planned large-scale military strike against Iran has been postponed, claiming that both sides have already agreed on a preliminary framework for a potential deal.

Trump made the announcement through his social media platform on Saturday night. The statement came a day after U.S. media reports suggested that the United States and Israel were preparing possible strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure.

According to Trump, the decision to delay military action was made after Iran and several Middle Eastern countries urged the United States to avoid further escalation. He also stated that any agreement should be finalized as soon as possible.

Trump further claimed that the proposed deal would ensure the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and eliminate what he described as Iran's nuclear threat.

Iran has not officially responded to Trump's claims. Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that any attack by the United States or Israel would receive a proportional response.
