United Ajod Insurance Calls 32nd AGM, Proposes 4.5% Dividend
United Ajod Insurance Limited has announced its 32nd Annual General Meeting on Asar 31, proposing a total dividend of 4.5 percent, including bonus shares and cash dividend.

United Ajod Insurance Limited has called its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve a proposed 4.5 percent dividend from the profits of fiscal year 2081/82.
The decision was made during the 83rd meeting of the company's Board of Directors. The AGM is scheduled to be held on Asar 31 at Amrapali Banquet in Kathmandu, starting at 10:30 AM.
The meeting will consider and approve a proposal to distribute a 4.28 percent bonus share worth approximately Rs 990 million and a 0.22 percent cash dividend worth around Rs 5.21 million for tax purposes. Together, the proposed distribution amounts to a total dividend of 4.5 percent.
The company currently has an issued capital of Rs 2.54 billion. Following the distribution of bonus shares, the issued capital is expected to increase to approximately Rs 2.64 billion. The AGM will also discuss amendments to the company's Memorandum and Articles of Association accordingly.
In addition, shareholders will review and approve the annual report, auditor's report, and the appointment of auditors for the fiscal year 2082/83.
For AGM participation and dividend eligibility purposes, the company has decided to close its shareholder register for one day on Asar 19. Shareholders maintaining ownership until Asar 18 will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
