Week-Long Rainfall Expected Across Nepal, Gandaki Province to Be Most Affected
Meteorologists have forecast continuous rainfall across Nepal throughout the week, with Gandaki Province expected to face the heaviest impact, including possible heavy rain and snowfall.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated that weather conditions across Nepal are unlikely to improve immediately, with a high probability of rainfall throughout the week.
According to the department, Gandaki Province is expected to be the most affected. Continuous rainfall along with snowfall is likely in the Terai, hilly, and mountainous regions of the province. Some areas may also experience heavy rainfall or snowfall.
Until Tuesday, moderate rainfall is expected in many places of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the Terai regions of Madhesh Province. There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall in some locations. Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces are expected to receive comparatively less rainfall.
Authorities have warned that continuous rainfall and snowfall in hilly and mountainous regions may disrupt daily life and have urged the public to remain cautious.
In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 86.6 mm was recorded in Musikot, Gulmi. Heavy rainfall was also observed in areas around Devghat, Nawalpur, Achham, and Pokhara.
The department has advised people to stay updated with weather forecasts and exercise caution while traveling or carrying out daily activities.
