Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ALBSL) is a Nepal-based microfinance institution that aims to provide financial services to underserved and deprived communities. Established under microfinance regulation, ALBSL started operations to deliver small loans, savings products, and other microfinance services to low-income groups, often with emphasis on financial inclusion of marginalized segments. Over time, it grew to become a listed company on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) its shares trade under the symbol “ALBSL”. ALBSL has a paid-up capital of NPR 73,30,46,300 (i.e. 73.30 crore) and total listed shares amounting to ~ 73.3 lakh units. The institution’s business focus includes micro-loans, savings, and other microfinance operations with the objective to foster financial inclusion and provide access to credit for underserved populations across Nepal.
