Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Ltd (HDHPC) is a Nepalese power-developer focused on generating electricity through run-of-river hydropower projects.The company was originally incorporated on 3 July 2008 as a private company, and later converted into a public limited company on 13 November 2017. HDHPC became publicly listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) in February 2020 under the symbol HDHPC. HDHPC’s core business involves developing, constructing and operating hydroelectric power plants across various districts including small and medium-scale run-of-river projects.Two of its operational assets include the Mai Khola Small Hydropower Project (4.455 MW) and the Mai Small Cascade Hydropower Project (8 MW) both using river water resources to generate clean electricity that is sold under agreements with the grid. The company also lists a major upcoming project KBNR Ishuwa Hydropower Project (97.2 MW) which, if completed, would significantly boost its power-generation capacity.
