Founded in 1985 A.D., it was later converted into a public limited company on 3 November 2000 and listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) in 2003.HDL specializes in producing and marketing a broad range of alcoholic beverages including whisky, rum, vodka, gin, brandy and other spirits covering both domestic demand and export-oriented segments. Over decades, the company has built a reputation for quality, leveraging modern distillation technologies and rigorous quality control. According to its latest annual report, HDL emphasizes high production standards, compliance with regulatory requirements, and sound corporate governance.
