B.S. as a private limited company by a distinguished team of industry professionals and later converted into a public limited company on 17th Kartik, 2071. The company is dedicated to advancing Nepal’s hydropower sector by developing strategic renewable energy projects. HUBCL is currently constructing two major run-of-river hydropower projects along the Khimti Khola in Chhuchure V.D.C., Ramechhap: Upallo Khimti Hydropower Project (UKHP) — 12 MW Upper Khimti-II Hydropower Project (UKHP-II) — 7 MW Both projects are progressing steadily, with preliminary works completed and hydromechanical, civil, and electromechanical contractors working efficiently to ensure timely delivery within the projected two-year timeframe. The company’s central office is located in Subidhanagar, Tinkune, Kathmandu, serving as the operational hub for project planning, management, and coordination. Through these initiatives, HUBCL aims to contribute significantly to Nepal’s clean energy generation and long-term energy security.
