Liberty Energy Company Limited (LECL) is a Nepali hydropower developer established with the vision of harnessing the nation’s abundant water resources to generate clean, reliable, and sustainable energy. Operating within Nepal’s rapidly expanding hydroelectric sector, the company focuses on run-of-river hydropower projects designed to support national energy security and reduce dependence on imported electricity. The company's flagship project, 74 MW Likhu-1 Hydropower Project, positions Liberty Energy as a significant independent power producer (IPP) contributing to Nepal’s national grid. LECL emphasizes modern engineering practices, environmental responsibility, and long-term operational stability. Its projects are developed under strict regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with the Government of Nepal’s policies for renewable energy development. Liberty Energy aims to generate stable cash flows through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). With a growing interest from both institutional and retail investors, the company is recognized for its strategic project planning, transparent governance, and focus on maximizing shareholder value. Driven by Nepal’s increasing electricity demand and growth in renewable infrastructure, Liberty Energy continues to expand its capabilities in project execution, energy generation efficiency, and hydropower management.
