Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited is a Nepalese hydropower company established with the aim of developing and operating hydroelectric projects in Nepal. MHNL holds a license for a 22.1 MW hydropower project on the Lower Hewa River in Panchthar District. The project, known as the Lower Hewa Hydropower Project, is designed as a run-of-river (RoR) plant, feeding electricity into Nepal’s national grid under long-term power-purchase agreements, contributing to the country’s renewable energy capacity.
