Prime Commercial Bank is a Category-“A” commercial bank in Nepal, established in September 2007 (2064 B.S.) as the 21st commercial bank in the country. Head-quartered in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, it operates a network of branches across the nation, offering a full spectrum of banking services from deposits and savings, current accounts, loans and credits, to trade financing, corporate banking, digital banking, cards, remittance, and other standard banking services for retail, corporate and SME customers. The bank aims to deliver accessible banking services across Nepal, supporting financial inclusion while positioning itself among the mid-to-large private sector banks. In recent years PCBL has demonstrated operational resilience: for example, in the first quarter of fiscal year 2082/83, the bank reported a net profit of NPR 1.25 billion a sign of continuing banking business growth and financial health.The bank is listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and has roughly 194 million shares outstanding (face value NPR 100), making it a publicly traded institution whose performance and governance are subject to market and regulatory scrutiny.
