Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RBCL) is a publicly listed independent power producer (IPP) in Nepal, primarily focused on the development and operation of run-of-river hydropower projects. Established to harness Nepal’s renewable energy potential, the company is best known for developing the 4.4 MW Radhi Small Hydropower Project located in Lamjung District, which supplies clean and sustainable electricity to the national grid under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). The company places strong emphasis on engineering quality, environmental responsibility, and efficient project management. Operating under the regulatory framework of the Department of Electricity Development (DoED), Radhi Bidyut Company maintains high standards of compliance, financial transparency, and corporate governance. RBCL aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio through continuous investment in hydropower infrastructure, community engagement, and sustainable development practices.
