Singati Hydro Energy Limited (SHEL) is a Nepal-based independent power producer (IPP) established to develop and operate hydropower projects that support Nepal’s growing energy demand. The company is best known for the 25 MW Singati Khola Hydropower Project, a run-of-river hydroelectric project located in Dolakha District, which supplies clean and renewable electricity to the national grid under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). Operating under the regulatory framework of the Department of Electricity Development (DoED), Singati Hydro Energy emphasizes high standards of engineering, environmental compliance, and community engagement throughout the project lifecycle. The company has contributed significantly to local infrastructure development, employment generation, and socio-economic upliftment in project-affected areas. Listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), SHEL follows transparent governance practices and prioritizes long-term value creation for its shareholders.
