Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta is a licensed microfinance institution in Nepal that operates under a class-“D” microfinance license issued by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).The company was registered as a public limited company on 2070/09/17 B.S. under the Company Act 2063, and after receiving its license from NRB on 2071/04/21 B.S., it began formal microfinance operations from 21/07/2017 onward.USLB provides microfinance and financial-inclusion services targeted at underserved, low-income, or rural populations. Its branch network is fairly wide: the institution operates through 82 branches across 28 districts of Nepal, covering both the Terai and hilly regions. Through these branches, USLB offers micro-loans, savings/deposit services, and other community-oriented financial products helping individuals, small farmers, micro-entrepreneurs, and rural households access credit and savings services that might otherwise be out of reach.As a publicly listed microfinance company (symbol "USLB") on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) since its listing on March 06, 2018 USLB’s shareholding structure is disclosed: there are about 2,468,657 listed shares (face value Rs. 100), with a mix of promoter and public shareholding.
