Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy

This Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy outlines how billing, subscriptions, payments, and refunds work on Nepalytix. By purchasing any plan or making any payment on Nepalytix, you agree to the terms described in this policy. For general platform usage terms, refer to our Terms and Conditions. For data privacy, refer to our Privacy Policy.

1. Nepalytix Currently Offers

  • All prices are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

    Cognify System Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to change plan pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. Price changes do not apply to active subscription periods already paid for.

    2. Payment Methods

    Nepalytix currently accepts payment via:

    2.1 Fonepay

    Scan the QR code displayed at checkout using any Fonepay-connected banking app. Supported banks include NIC Asia, Nabil, Sunrise, Global IME, and 50+ other Fonepay-connected institutions.

    2.2 Payment Confirmation

    After completing payment via either method, you must send a screenshot of your transaction confirmation to +977 9862913143 via WhatsApp. Access will be activated within 1 hour of confirmation during business hours. Payments made outside business hours will be processed the next business day.

    We do not accept cash payments, cheques, or any other payment method not listed above.

    3. Subscription Billing

    3.1 Annual Plans

    Annual plans are billed once per year. Your subscription covers 365 days from the date of activation.

    3.2 No Auto-Renewal

    Nepalytix does not auto-renew subscriptions. You will receive a reminder notification 14 days and 3 days before your subscription expires. It is your responsibility to renew your plan before expiry to maintain uninterrupted access.

    3.3 Subscription Expiry

    When your annual subscription expires, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan. Your data and account information will be retained for 90 days after expiry. After 90 days of inactivity on an expired paid plan, we reserve the right to archive or delete data.

    3.4 Plan Upgrades

    You may upgrade from Free to Pro, or from Pro to Institutional at any time. When upgrading mid-cycle, you will pay the full price of the new plan and your subscription period will restart from the date of upgrade. No credit is given for unused days on the previous plan.

    3.5 Plan Downgrades

    Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to your current plan's features until the cycle ends.

    4. Refund Policy

    4.1 General Policy

    All payments made to Nepalytix are final and non-refundable once access has been granted. This applies to all plans including Free upgrades, Basic, Pro, Elite, Institutional Access.

    4.2 Exceptions

    We will consider a refund only in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment: you were charged twice for the same plan due to a technical error. Evidence of duplicate payment must be provided.
  • Access not granted: you completed payment and sent confirmation but did not receive access within 24 hours. Contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of payment.
  • Fraudulent transaction: your payment was made without your authorisation. A formal complaint must be filed with us and your bank within 7 days of the transaction.
  • 4.3 How to Request a Refund

    To request a refund under the eligible circumstances above:

  • Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request"
  • Include your full name, registered email, transaction screenshot, and reason for refund
  • We will review your request within 5 business days
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days via the original payment method where possible
  • 4.4 Non-Eligible Refund Situations

    Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Dissatisfaction with features or platform performance
  • Accidental purchase where access has already been granted
  • Unused portion of an annual subscription
  • Partial use of a plan before cancellation
  • Lifetime Access under any circumstance other than those listed in Section 4.2
  • 5. Cancellation

    5.1 Annual Plans

    You may choose not to renew your annual plan at any time. Since Nepalytix does not auto-renew, no action is required to cancel — simply do not renew when your plan expires. No refund will be issued for the remaining period of your current subscription.

    5.2 Account Terminated by Nepalytix

    Cognify System Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of our Terms and Conditions. In cases of termination due to violations, no refund will be provided regardless of the plan type or remaining subscription period.

    6. Disrupted Transactions

    If you believe a transaction on your bank statement is incorrect or unauthorised, contact us immediately at [email protected] before initiating a dispute with your bank. We will investigate and resolve legitimate disputes promptly.

    Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account pending investigation.

    7. Receipts and Invoices

    Upon payment confirmation, Nepalytix will send a payment confirmation message via WhatsApp or email. If you require a formal invoice or receipt for accounting purposes, email [email protected] with your payment details and we will issue one within 3 business days.

    8. Changes to This Policy

    Cognify System Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to update this Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email or platform notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
