Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta to Skip Dividend for FY Again
Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta has decided not to distribute dividends from last fiscal year’s profit, continuing its no-dividend stance from the previous year.
Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (ACLBSL) has announced that it will not distribute dividends from the profit of the last financial year. The decision was endorsed during the Board of Directors’ meeting held on Mangsir 25.
The board resolved to withhold dividend distribution and proceed with sending the financial statements to Nepal Rastra Bank for approval. This marks the second consecutive year in which the microfinance institution has opted not to offer any returns to shareholders, reflecting a continued conservative approach toward capital management.
The institution has not disclosed further details on whether retained earnings will be allocated for expansion, regulatory compliance strengthening, or provisioning needs. However, the move signals the company’s emphasis on maintaining financial stability amid sectoral pressures.
