Asian Life Insurance to Hold 18th AGM on Falgun 11; 10.5263% Dividend on Agenda
Asian Life Insurance Company Limited has announced its 18th AGM on Falgun 11, 2082, where a 10.5263 percent dividend for FY 2081/82 will be proposed for approval.
Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL) has called its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Falgun 11, 2082. The meeting will take place at Hotel Classic, Simara, Bara, starting at 1:00 PM.
One of the key agendas of the AGM is to approve a total dividend of 10.5263 percent, amounting to Rs. 52.64 crore, for the fiscal year 2081/82. The dividend proposal was approved by the company’s 213th board meeting held on Poush 30.
As per the proposal, ALICL will distribute 5 percent bonus shares worth Rs. 25 crore and 5.5263 percent cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 27.63 crore. The company’s paid-up capital currently stands at Rs. 5 Arba.
Other AGM agendas include approval of the auditor’s report along with profit and loss statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, as well as the appointment of an auditor for FY 2082/83.
The company has announced Magh 29, 2082 as the book closure date. Shareholders who hold shares until this date will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the AGM.
