Barahi Hydropower Schedules 10th Annual General Meeting on Kartik 20
Barahi Hydropower Public Limited will hold its 10th AGM on Kartik 20 to discuss annual reports, auditor appointments, and proposals for using funds from upcoming rights issues.
Kathmandu: Barahi Hydropower Public Limited has scheduled its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Kartik 20, 2082 (Thursday), according to the company’s board meeting held on Aswin 26. The AGM will be conducted in accordance with Section 67 of the Company Act, 2063, and all shareholders are invited to attend.
The meeting will commence at 12:15 PM at Doleswor Village Resort, Suryabinayak–8, Bhaktapur. The agenda includes discussion and approval of the annual report, balance sheet, profit-loss statements, and auditor’s report for FY 2081/82. Additionally, proposals for appointment and remuneration of auditors for FY 2082/83 will be presented.
Special proposals concerning the company’s upcoming plans will also be discussed. Shareholders will review and approve granting the board the authority to execute all actions related to the funds raised from the upcoming rights issue.
For the AGM, the shareholder register will close on Kartik 11. Only those shareholders registered by Kartik 9 at the Nepal Stock Exchange will be eligible to participate. Attendance will be recorded one hour before the meeting, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Shareholders unable to attend in person may appoint a proxy, but the proxy must be a shareholder. Non-shareholders are not permitted as proxies. The proxy form must be submitted to the registered office 48 hours prior to the AGM. Electronic proxy submissions are also accepted.
