Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has listed bonus shares of two companies—Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Singati Hydro Energy Limited—marking an update in post-dividend adjustments for investors.

Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta has listed a total of 1,306,039.88 bonus shares, representing its recently distributed 5% stock dividend. These shares will become eligible for trading once they are credited to shareholders’ demat accounts.

Similarly, Singati Hydro Energy has listed 1,450,000 bonus shares, also corresponding to a 5% bonus distribution. As with other bonus listings, investors will be able to trade these shares only after they are reflected in their demat holdings.

The listing of bonus shares typically follows corporate actions where companies reward shareholders through stock dividends instead of cash payouts. While such listings increase the total number of outstanding shares, they do not immediately alter the overall market capitalization but may impact share liquidity and price adjustments in subsequent trading sessions.

Investors are advised to monitor their demat accounts for share credit before initiating transactions, as trading eligibility is contingent upon settlement completion.
