Chyangdi Hydropower to Auction 298,832 Unclaimed Rights Shares

Chyangdi Hydropower Limited (CHL) has announced the auction of 298,832 unclaimed rights shares following an under-subscription during its 1:1 rights issue. The unsold shares will be offered to the public through a sealed-bid auction process starting from July 29 (Shrawan 14) to August 5 (Shrawan 21), 2025.

The minimum bid price has been set at NPR 100 per share, and investors must submit sealed bids quoting NPR 100 or higher per unit. The minimum application quantity is 100 shares, while there is no cap on the maximum number of shares that can be applied for.

Global IME Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue and sales manager. Interested investors can submit their bids at Global IME Capital's office and select branches of Global IME Bank, including Birtamod, Hanumandas Road–Biratnagar, Janakpur, Adarshanagar–Birgunj, Hetauda, Narayangadh, New Road–Pokhara, Butwal–Milan Chowk, Baglung, Nepalgunj–Tribhuvan Chowk, Surkhet, Ghorahi–Dang, Dhangadhi, and Mahendranagar.

The auction provides an opportunity for investors to acquire CHL shares, potentially at competitive prices, subject to demand and bid strength.
