Citizen Investment Trust Declares Dividend for FY 2024/25

Citizen Investment Trust has announced a dividend distribution to shareholders from the profit earned in the previous fiscal year, the institution said on Monday.

Based on the current paid-up capital, the board has approved a payout comprising a 5% bonus share issue along with an 8% cash dividend, including the portion allocated for tax purposes. The decision was taken at a board meeting held on Poush 6 (December 21).

The proposed dividend will be distributed after receiving approval from the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Finance and subsequent endorsement by the institution’s upcoming annual general meeting.

Listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange under the symbol CIT, the trust’s dividend announcement is expected to draw attention from income-focused investors, reflecting its continued profitability and stable payout profile.
