Deprosc Laghubitta Offers Promoter Shares for Sale to Existing Shareholders

Deprosc Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has announced the sale of 30,000 units of promoter shares under its founder group category, initiating a process aimed at existing promoter shareholders.

The shares, currently held in the name of Mahila Adarsha Sewa Kendra, have been offered for sale with priority given to the institution’s existing promoter shareholders. Interested eligible investors are required to submit their applications within 35 days at the company’s corporate office in Sitapaila, Kathmandu.

The company stated that if no applications are received from existing promoter shareholders within the stipulated timeframe, the shares will subsequently be made available to other individuals or institutions in accordance with prevailing regulations.

Such transactions are common in Nepal’s microfinance sector, where promoter share restructuring allows for adjustments in ownership while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Market participants often view these offerings as opportunities to acquire strategic stakes, particularly in established microfinance institutions with stable operational track records.
