Gold and Silver Prices Decline in Nepali Market
Gold dropped by Rs. 800 per tola and silver fell by Rs. 30 per tola on Thursday in the Nepali bullion market.

Gold and silver prices retreated in the Nepali market on Thursday, reversing the previous day’s strong upward movement. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold dropped by Rs. 800 per tola, settling at Rs. 253,300. Gold had traded at Rs. 254,100 per tola on Wednesday.
Silver also declined, falling by Rs. 30 per tola to Rs. 3,625. This pullback comes a day after silver reached a historic high of Rs. 3,655 per tola, supported by strong demand and rising global prices.
Bullion traders noted that the correction reflects normal volatility after consecutive gains, with international market fluctuations also influencing domestic prices. Analysts expect continued price swings in the coming days as global precious-metal markets react to geopolitical cues, interest-rate expectations, and investor sentiment.
