Gold and silver prices recorded a significant decline in the Nepali market on Monday, Magh 19. According to market data, the price of gold fell by Rs. 13,400 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs. 300 per tola on the same day.

The decline marks a continuous drop in precious metal prices for the past three days. As per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is currently trading at Rs. 286,600 per tola in today’s market. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs. 300,000 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also declined sharply. Silver is being traded at Rs. 5,200 per tola in today’s market, compared to Rs. 5,500 per tola on Sunday.

Market analysts attribute the ongoing decline to fluctuations in the international market and changing demand conditions in the domestic market
