Gold and Silver Prices Hit Fresh Record Highs in Nepal

Gold and silver prices in Nepal surged to new record highs on Sunday, Bhadra 22, 2082, continuing the momentum of last week when daily records were frequently set.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by NPR 1,600 per tola compared to Friday, reaching NPR 212,000 per tola, the highest level ever recorded in Nepal. On Friday, gold had traded at NPR 210,400 per tola.

Silver also climbed higher, rising by NPR 10 per tola, with prices reaching NPR 2,500 per tola, setting a fresh record above Friday’s NPR 2,490 per tola.

The continuous rally in bullion prices reflects both global market trends and domestic demand pressures, with investors increasingly turning to precious metals as a hedge against economic uncertainty.
