Gold and Silver Prices Hit New Record Highs in Nepali Market on Monday

Gold and silver prices in the Nepali market climbed to new historic highs on Monday, Magh 12, extending their record-breaking trend for the third consecutive day.

On Monday, the price of gold increased by Rs. 5,200 per tola, while silver rose by Rs. 285 per tola, setting new records for both precious metals.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is being traded at Rs. 309,000 per tola. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs. 303,800 per tola, and Monday’s surge surpassed that previous record.

Similarly, the price of silver rose sharply by Rs. 285 per tola to reach Rs. 6,765 per tola. On Sunday, silver was traded at Rs. 6,480 per tola, and Monday’s increase pushed the metal to a new all-time high.

With prices rising continuously over the past few days, both gold and silver have maintained strong upward momentum in the domestic market.
