Gold and Silver Prices Keep Breaking Records in Nepal
Gold and silver prices hit historic highs on Ashwin 23, with gold up by Rs. 1,100 per tola and silver surging Rs. 70.

On Thursday, Ashwin 23, the Nepalese market witnessed a continuous surge in gold and silver prices, setting new historic highs.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard minted gold rose by Rs. 1,100, reaching Rs. 239,200 per tola, up from Rs. 238,100 recorded on Wednesday. This upward momentum marks a persistent record-breaking streak for gold in the domestic market.
Silver also posted significant gains, increasing by Rs. 70 per tola to reach Rs. 3,025, compared to Rs. 2,955 the previous day. Analysts attribute the rally to rising global demand and local market sentiment driving investment in precious metals.
Investors are advised to monitor the market closely as gold and silver continue to show volatile yet historically strong upward trends.
