Gold and silver prices climbed sharply in Nepal on Monday, marking a strong rebound in the domestic bullion market, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.
The price of fine gold surged by Rs 4,600 per tola to trade at Rs 265,000. In the previous session on Sunday, gold had been priced at Rs 260,400 per tola.
Silver prices also recorded a notable increase. The metal rose by Rs 185 per tola, trading at Rs 4,685, compared with Rs 4,500 per tola in the previous session.
Market participants attributed the sharp rise to renewed buying interest following recent price corrections, alongside supportive signals from international precious metals markets. Traders remain watchful of global trends for further cues on price movements.
