Gold and silver prices climbed in the Nepali market on Wednesday, with silver reaching a new historical peak.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold increased by Rs 200 per tola, bringing the price to Rs 252,100, up from Rs 251,900 the previous day.

Silver saw even stronger momentum.
Prices surged Rs 150 per tola, pushing silver to a record-high Rs 3,750 per tola, compared to Rs 3,600 on Tuesday.

Analysts attribute the rise to global market volatility, increased demand for safe-haven assets, and supply-side pressures in precious metals. These factors have contributed to consistent upward movement in both gold and silver in recent weeks.
