Gold Hits New Record as Silver Slides in Nepalese Market
Gold prices in Nepal surged to a record high, while silver saw a modest decline on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Nepali gold prices surged to a new record, reflecting increased demand and market momentum. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders reported that the price of minted gold reached NPR 248,900 per tola, up NPR 400 from Tuesday’s rate of NPR 248,500.
In contrast, silver prices dipped slightly, with tola prices falling NPR 85 to NPR 3,240. On Tuesday, silver traded at NPR 3,325 per tola, marking its previous peak. Analysts note that while gold continues its upward trajectory due to global and domestic factors, silver is facing minor corrections in the local market.
Investors and traders are closely monitoring these precious metal trends as fluctuations in gold and silver often influence both retail and institutional investment decisions in Nepal.
