Gold Prices Ease in Nepal Amid Global Market Movements
Gold and silver prices declined in Nepal today, tracking softer trends in the global bullion market, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.

Gold prices in Nepal declined on the latest trading day, reflecting weakness in global bullion markets, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.
The price of hallmark gold has been fixed at NPR 282,000 per tola, down from NPR 294,500 per tola recorded last Friday. In the previous session, gold had been priced even higher at NPR 302,300 per tola, indicating a steady downward adjustment over recent days.
Similarly, silver prices have also softened. The white metal is currently priced at NPR 4,540 per tola, compared to NPR 4,895 per tola last Friday and NPR 5,010 per tola in the prior trading day.
The local price movement mirrors trends in the international bullion market, where gold is trading at around USD 4,500 per ounce, while silver stands at approximately USD 68 per ounce, according to international media reports. Fluctuations in global demand, currency strength, and investor sentiment continue to influence domestic pricing in Nepal.
