Gold prices in Nepal’s domestic market remained unchanged on the day, while silver recorded a modest increase, reflecting mixed movement in precious metals.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold stood steady at Rs. 294,000 per tola, unchanged from the previous trading day.

In contrast, silver prices rose by Rs. 50 per tola, reaching Rs. 4,830 per tola. The upward movement in silver suggests selective demand or alignment with international price trends.

On Thursday, gold was also traded at Rs. 294,000 per tola, indicating a pause in recent volatility. However, just a day earlier on Wednesday, gold prices had reached Rs. 297,600 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs. 4,945 per tola, highlighting short-term fluctuations in the bullion market.

Market participants continue to monitor global cues, currency movements, and local demand dynamics, which collectively influence daily price adjustments in Nepal’s gold and silver market.
