IGI Prudential Insurance Opens Promoter Shares for Public Sale
IGI Prudential Insurance has offered 94,797 promoter shares for public sale with a minimum price of Rs. 240 per share.

IGI Prudential Insurance Limited has opened 94,797 units of promoter shares for sale to the general public, expanding investment opportunities in the insurance sector.
The company has set a minimum bid price of Rs. 240 per share for the offering. Interested individuals, institutions, and organizations can participate by submitting bids at or above the minimum price through a competitive bidding process.
Applications must be submitted to Reliable Investment and Merchant Capital, located in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, which has been designated to manage the share sale process.
The move follows a common practice in Nepal’s capital market, where promoter shares are made available to the public, often through a bidding mechanism, to ensure transparent price discovery and broader ownership participation.
Market observers note that such offerings can attract investors seeking strategic stakes, particularly in the insurance sector, which continues to expand alongside regulatory reforms and increasing financial penetration.
