Kuwaiti Dinar and Omani Rial Trade at Highest Rates as USD Holds Steady
Nepal Rastra Bank sets July 16 FX rates with USD stable at NPR 137.60; Kuwaiti Dinar trades above NPR 450, highest among all listed currencies.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for July 16, 2025 (Ashar 32, 2081). The U.S. Dollar remains stable, with a buying rate of NPR 137.00 and a selling rate of NPR 137.60.
Among all listed currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) continues to hold the highest exchange rate, trading at NPR 448.40 (buying) and NPR 450.36 (selling). The Omani Rial (OMR) also trades at elevated levels, reflecting strong demand for Gulf currencies driven by remittances and trade.
The Euro (EUR) stands at NPR 159.91 (buying) and NPR 160.61 (selling), while the British Pound (GBP) is valued at NPR 184.19 and NPR 185.00 respectively.
