Today marks the final deadline for foreign-employed Nepalis to apply for Kalanga Hydropower’s IPO.

Today is the final day for Nepalese citizens working abroad to apply for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Kalanga Hydropower Limited.
The company had opened the IPO issuance from Chaitra 10, allocating a total of 350,000 units of shares exclusively for foreign-employed Nepalis at a face value of Rs. 100 per share.
Applicants are allowed to apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 20,000 units. The offering is being managed by Sanima Capital Limited, which has been appointed as the issue and sales manager.
Eligible investors can submit their applications through C-ASBA approved banks and financial institutions authorized by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). Additionally, applications can also be made online via the Mero Share platform, ensuring convenient access for applicants residing abroad.
The IPO is part of the company’s broader plan to mobilize capital for its hydropower project, while also expanding investment opportunities for the Nepali diaspora.
As the deadline closes today, investors are expected to finalize their applications, with demand likely reflecting continued interest in Nepal’s hydropower sector.
