Terhathum Power’s NPR 400 Million Rights Issue Closes Today
Today, Shrawan 11, 2082 (July 26, 2025), marks the final day to apply for Terhathum Power Company Limited’s 1:1 rights offering. The company had initially opened the rights issue on Ashad 16, but due to under-subscription by the initial Shrawan 4 deadline, the application period was extended.
The company is issuing 4 million units of rights shares at a par value of NPR 100 per share, equivalent to its current paid-up capital of NPR 400 million.
According to CDSC, as of Saturday evening, 26,483 applicants had submitted requests totaling 2,255,183 shares, far below the full offering size.
Only shareholders listed before the book closure date of Jestha 5 (i.e., who held shares until Jestha 4) are eligible to apply.
The company aims to raise NPR 400 million through this issue, and Nabil Investment Banking Ltd. is serving as the issue and sales manager.
